SOP ON SECURITY: PM SHRI K.V.NO.2 JALANDHAR CANTT
GENERAL
1. Security of any institution bears a paramount importance and needs constant vigil of every individuals abiding within the location . The Kendriya Vidyalaya no.2 is located in the Cantt area so it requires to constitute suitable safety measures for safety of its premise . On the prevailing scenario, various security steps are required to be taken in order to tighten the security at all the times which has become a necessity to keep proper check and continuous vigil. Hence ,it is necessary to identify the entries of strangers & their nefarious activities and are sometimes disguised or placed in certain locations to ward off the security threat. These days the security systems are
required to be enhanced with infrared technology keeping in view the recent incident as the students of the school have become the softest target of extremists. To ensure better security of the institution ,the security staffs are required to be equipped with CCTV cameras ,Emergency Alarm Bell and to maintain records of each visitor entering the premises thereof.
AIM
2. The aim of this SOP is to lay down the detailed procedure to be followed by the security & associated staff concerned who handle the CCTV cameras , Emergency Alarm Bell within the premises of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya no.2 ,Jalandhar Cantt to ensure complete security in the school campus. All staff are expected to follow guidance provided in this procedure so that all levelheaded steps are taken to ensure the security of students ,teachers, visitors and personal property of the school.
